Lee Dunlap is my choice for Plano City Council Place 8. In addition to the basic functions of city government (safety, transportation, and sanitation), Lee's contributions include many areas that further enhance our Plano quality of life, these programs support our economy, and enhance our property values. Additional areas I believe Lee supports include:
1. Neighborhoods - parks, pedestrian/bike paths, beautification, infrastructure, associations, and infill development
2. People - libraries, recreation centers, minorities, immigrants, and native Texans like me
3. Arts - symphony, ballet, and facilities
Making draconian cuts because of small deficits would be a false savings. Instead, we should make investments while costs are low to enhance our future. Lee has that vision for a continuously improving Plano, supports posting the Plano City Check Register online, and listens to citizens including cost saving suggestions.
